“A Hand up, not a Hand Out” has always been the way the ministry of CFI seeks to bring self-sufficiency and permanent improvement to the lives of the persecuted Christians we serve.
Based on the Scriptural standard of 2 Thess 3:8-12, we believe in equipping the Persecuted with the ability to provide a stable future for themselves, their families, their churches, and their communities.
The Karen refugee students from our Huai Kalok Bible Institute (HBI) learn the valuable textile trade skills of silk-screening, weaving, and sewing as part of their curriculum. With any donation proceeds above the cost of production and shipping, the students learn how to manage their income and handle finances. The products available in this microenterprise outlet store are individually made by our students in their textile studio at HBI.
100% of donations for our HBI products go back into the ministry program to refugee students from Burma.
These products are made available through the Christian Freedom International microenterprise program.Donations are not tax deductible as you will receive good/services in return. We sincerely thank you for your sacrificial giving in support of this extremely valuable program to our refugee Karen students.
